LONDON FASHION WEEK SHOW: J W Anderson
BEAUTY LOOK: Cool Girl Makeup
This carefree beauty look was designed to play on the youthfulness of the girls but with a sexy and worldly look. Created by NARS makeup artist Mark Carrasquillo makeup was minimal with just a little concealer where necessary, matte skin, a layer of mascara for depth of colour around the eye and a rubbed in, roughed up lipstick that looked like the girl had applied it herself. A nonchalant, cool girl makeup look at it's best.
LONDON FASHION WEEK SHOW: Alice Temperley
BEAUTY LOOK: Slept In Makeup
Slept-in 'shagged' makeup was the look of the show at Temperley. Created by Val Garland for Rodial it was all about a 'glunge' style, a mix of glam and grunge. Eyes were smokey with a black liner along the lashline and a smokey shadow buffed in around the eye, over a brown mousse eyeshadow base. The show also featured the brand new Rodial Suede Lip pen that has a creamy, matte pigment. The Rodial Suede Lip pen crayon was debuted at the show and is available to purchase from September 19th.
