Twilight star Kristen Stewart will be the poster girl for Balenciaga’s new fragrance
She’s a global film superstar with one of the most lusted after men in the world as her boyfriend, and Kristen Stewart can now add fashion house muse to her CV, as it’s revealed that she has been signed up to be the new face of Balenciaga's perfume.
The Twilight star will front the ads for the Paris-based label’s latest yet unnamed fragrance for women – her first major fashion brand campaign – which is expected to launch this autumn.

Kristen told WWD about the collaboration: ‘Balenciaga has always stood out to me. Even when I first began to consider fashion, and admittedly rarely knew the brand I was wearing, I always recognised and loved Balenciaga. It feels full circle to be involved with something that spoke to me then and of course continues to excite me now. The brand is just cool.’
Balenciaga’s Creative Director, Nicolas Ghesquière, added: ‘Kristen embodies the modernity of the new Balenciaga fragrance with her unique sensibility and intelligence. In 2006, I invited her to appear in a project shot by Bruce Weber. Since then, I’ve always wished to collaborate with her further, knowing that she shares the radical spirit of Balenciaga.’
No further details on the theme of the shoot or the photographer have been released, but with three blockbuster films hitting cinema screens this year alone – Snow White And The Huntsman, On The Road, and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 – 2012 is set to be another huge year for Kristen.
