Kristen Stewart has landed an amazing new beauty gig: she’s the new face of Chanel make-up.
The actress and model is no stranger to the fashion brand, having previously appeared as the face of the 2013 Paris-Dallas 2013/14 Métiers d’art collection, the Paris in Rome 2015/16 Métiers d’art collection advertising campaign, and also posing for the SS15 eyewear adverts last year.
She also played Coco Chanel in Karl Lagerfeld's short film about the designer, entitled Once and Forever, which premiered last December during the fashion show in Rome.
But her latest campaign may be her most exciting yet. Kristen is famed for her varied, brave and unusual beauty looks, channelling everything from smoky eyes to dark lips to ‘no make-up’ make-up, and constantly switching up her hairstyle – so branching out into Chanel beauty will be perfectly suited to her.
However, this won’t be her first beauty campaign – eagle-eyed Kristen fans will remember that she was also the face of Balenciaga’s Florabotanica fragrance back in 2012, when Nicolas Ghesquière was head of the fashion house.
The Twilight star is the face of Chanel’s Eyes Collection campaign, which is photographed by Mario Testino and scheduled to break in March 2016.

Kristen joins Gisele Bundchen and Keira Knightley – who front the Les Beiges campaigns and Rouge Coco lipsticks respectively – as an ambassador for Chanel.
‘With her modern, magnetic beauty, and free spirit, Stewart appears in a series of portraits embodying various facets of the contemporary Chanel woman,’ the fashion house said in a statement.
The first photo for the campaign shows Kristen covering her face with her arm, showing only a hint of the smoky eye she is so well-known for - but we can't wait to see more.
