Fearne Cotton has us in the Christmas spirit, as she launches her new fun and festive beauty range for Boots.
Talking us through the new line of make-up and beauty products, the Radio 1 DJ has dished her ultimate beauty tips for party season, hailing the Kardashians as her seasonal inspiration. Seriously.
‘I definitely think around Christmas you can be as extravagant as you like,’ Fearne told us. ‘There are no rules.
'You can do a heavy eye and a red lip… you can kind of Kardashian it up a bit!’
But when it comes to keeping your red lip in tact whilst devouring Christmas dinner, Fearne weighs in with her tried and tested tips: ‘My lip crayon for Boots is definitely the way. Keep making sure that it’s blended on the inner lip and you aren’t getting a hard line.
‘Honestly, lip crayons have proved to be pretty amazing, and very durable for all Christmas activities - snogging under the mistletoe, eating turkey, etc!'

‘I use the lip crayons every day. I love the light pink shade because it’s really easy daywear and you can put a bit of lip balm or gloss over it, and it lasts forever,' she adds while her 10-month-old son, Rex, plays by her side.
Giving us a heads up on the other must-haves from her latest Boots collection, Fearne says she’s already obsessed with the new nail art kit (she tempts us with black gems and studs), as well as her vanilla-scented beauty products. 'It took my ages to get the smell right,' she confesses. 'But it's just gorgeous, really light and fresh.'
After giving birth to Rex, her first son to boyfriend Jesse Wood, Fearne tells us how motherhood has influenced her beauty regime. ‘When I was pregnant I definitely made an effort to wear make-up every day.
‘I was trying out all sorts of purple eyeliner and things I hadn’t really touched before, but now that I’m a mum, and usually in a bit of a rush, I definitely think a red lip and sunglasses is a good thing to have on the back-burner at all times.'
Proving her multi-tasking talents before our very eyes, she dotes on an adorable Rex while giving us a good look at her new, shoulder-length bob.
‘But day-to-day, it hasn’t really changed too much,' she adds. 'I still love experimenting with new colours, trying new looks when I go out or if I’m doing TV shows.’
Putting her own beauty tips to good use just hours later, Fearne gets dolled up to film the Top Of The Pops Christmas special. Leaving the BBC studios with her shimmery eye shadow in tact, she teamed with a pink glossy lip and blended cheek sheen.
Fearne Cotton’s beauty range is available to buy now in Boots stores and online at Boots.com.
