There was a lot of love in the room...

Emily Blunt and John Krasinski are one of our favourite celebrity couples ever, so it's really no surprise that they gave us even more reasons to love them at the SAG Awards 2019 last night.

For her role in A Quiet Place, Emily was awarded the 'Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture' gong, beating Amy Adams, Margot Robbie, Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz for the title.

Not only did John direct and co-write the film, he also starred alongside his wife, so naturally Emily gave him a massive shout-out in her acceptance speech.

‘Oh my goodness me. Guys, that truly has completely blown my slicked hair back,' she began. 'Thank you so, so, so much. I am so moved and completely lost for words and unprepared.

'I am going to share this completely with my husband, John Krasinski, because the entire experience of doing this with you has completely pierced my heart; you are a stunning filmmaker. I am so lucky to be with you and to have done this film with you. Thank you for giving me the part – you would have been in major trouble if you hadn’t.’

Oh, you guys!

And in case we didn't know how proud he was of his wife (check out John cheering for her at the Golden Globes), Mr Krasinski didn't disapppoint in his reaction, tearing up during the speech and giving his wife a huge applause.

The couple are parents to two daughters who also got a shout-out in their mum's speech. ‘Thank you to the two little poems in our life, our daughters Hazel and Violet, who will have to be at least 45 before they see this film,' Emily said in a nod to the film's scary nature.

These two, eh? Too cute.
