Diorskin Star is the world's first selfie-ready foundation. Get the low-down on how it's going to improve your life - online and off
How many times have you logged on to Facebook or Instagram, only to see your own face peering back at you in an unflattering selection of pictures from the night before? It's a very modern day problem and one that no one has thought to address, until now. Dior have beaten the competition to create another cult product with the world's first ever selfie-ready foundation.
Promising to take the worry out of posing for the camera and eliminating the need for filters, the Diorskin Star Foundation uses titanium to help neutralise the skin's imperfections. This new ingredient stops skin from becoming shiny and soothes red patches, while 'amplifying radiance' so your skin is ready for it's moment in the spotlight, as soon as the flash bulbs start clicking.
The idea of a foundation for the social media generation came from dior's own research, which concluded that seven out of 10 women felt less than happy with the end result of selfies. The findings led Dior to create make-up that could mimic the look of a filter in real life - and ensure your complexion is photo-ready at any moment.
Diorskin Star contains 'intelligent pigments', which work by 'capturing the light' to enhance cheekbones, eyes and lips at the same time as banishing wrinkles, under eye circles and dull skin. Scientists have spent two years developing this technology - and we're hoping it will give us Kim Kardashian's contouring skills without the effort.
The face of this brand new concept foundation is the seriously beautiful Natalie Portman, who's photoshoot for Diorskin Star is making us want to recreate her dewy, perfect skin right now.
A super-light but creamy foundation that gives full coverage (a welcome return, after a summer of BB creams and bronzers), the Diorskin Star promises to make you feel more photogenic instantly. Snap it up now before it's gone.
