If you are feeling flush this Christmas, a £495 nail polish has to be the most luxurious way to treat yourself. Christian Louboutin's nail colour is already on our wish list and all colours come in show-stopping bottles, but the designer has uped the ante for the festive season and given his original Rouge Louboutin Nail Colour a sparkling makeover with this glamorous Starlight version.
Adorned with 1,500 hand-applied strass crystals, this bottle is more of an objet d'art than an everyday nail polish. Only 1000 have been made, due to the painstaking hand-crafted nature of the design, making it a real collector's piece - if you've got the spare cash.
Nestled inside a velvet-lined case, which is embellished with the same blossoms seen on Louboutin's Pensamoi shoe (an inspiration for this piece), the bottle (as with all Louboutin nail colours) is eight-inches tall, mimicking the Louboutin Ballerina Ultima heel.
Louboutin has made Strass crystals a signature sign of his work, adding sparkle and shine to some of his most popular styles, such as Body Strass and Pigalle Follies Strass Degradé. So if you've already got a collection of Louboutin embellished pieces going, why not add this to your list and light up your Christmas with the ultimate luxury buy.
Christian Louboutin Limited Edition Rouge Louboutin Starlight Edition, £495.
