The Hollywood legend is rumoured to be the fragrance’s latest star face
He’s an acting legend, the world’s favourite male pin-up and one half of Hollywood’s most powerful couple, and now, if rumours are to be believed, Brad Pitt can add Chanel muse to his bumper CV by bagging a campaign to front the brand’s No. 5 fragrance.
It’s understood that Brad has been snapped up by the French fashion house to follow in the well-heeled footsteps of Catherine Deneuve, Nicole Kidman and, most recently, Audrey Tautou and become the new face of the iconic scent.
The exciting partnership, believed to be worth a cool seven-figure contract, will make him the first man in the perfume’s history to act as model for the fragrance.
Representatives for both Brad and Chanel are keeping schtum on the matter, but a source has told E! Online that the actor is currently in London to shoot the campaign this week. The star and his fiancée, Angelina Jolie, and their brood of kids have recently set up home here in the UK in the Richmond area due to upcoming filming commitments.
It’s still not clear if he will front a campaign for the women’s fragrance, made famous when silver screen siren Marilyn Monroe saucily claimed that it was all she wore in bed, or whether Chanel will launch their first equivalent for men. Either way, it’s exciting.
