According to a recent survey by the New York Times, Gossip Girl Blake Lively has the most sought after hairstyle from the ladies who sit in the hairdressser's chair.

Remember how everyone went mad for Jennifer Aniston's hair when she had it cut into that shaggy face-framing bob during her early days in Friends?

The ‘Rachel Green' had stylistas worldwide rushing to the salon to copy the cut, but that was, like, so 1994...

Now it seems that we all have a new, more modern hair crush.

Yes, this is the decade of the Blake barnet, as according to salon experts, their customers are all requesting the long, mussed-up tresses of Serena van der Woodsen.

Blake says that although she was often complimented on her hair, she ‘didn't really realise the extent of it.'

With fashion followers constantly fixating on her tumbling tresses, she admits that: ‘It's always kind of odd, but it's unbelievably flattering.'
