Switching to a new hairstylist can be like going on a blind date. It's nerve-wracking and can be a risky move if the two of you don’t make a good match.
As you sit in the chair, watching your new possible companion walk towards you, all the things you want to know before the scissors come out pop into your head. Do you have similar tastes? Do you two share the same vision? Will this person understand exactly what you want?
Aveda has decided to lower the pressure of finding your dream hairstylist with the launch of a fun, no-strings-attached hair-matching event. It’s like speed dating, but for your hair.
Hair-Match invites guests and friends to mingle with stylists and ‘date’ your way to hair heaven. If you’re on the fence about beginning a new relationship with a hairstylist, talk it out over some prosecco and nibbles, before you take the plunge.
And, if you do meet your match and book an appointment that night, you’ll receive a free redeemable Beauty on Demand facial treatment.
The debut event takes place 5 June at Aveda’s Covent Garden location from 6:30pm. The first 50 guests will also receive an Aveda goody bag containing four travel-sized Aveda products.
