Audrey Tatou stars in stunning Chanel No 5 film
Remember 2005's mesmerising Chanel No 5 film, where Nicole Kidman ran through the streets of Paris in a cascading pink feathered gown?
Well, the French design house has recreated that scent-sational magic, with the launch of a brand new face, Audrey Tatou. Fittingly for the iconic fragrance, the breathtaking film debuts today (the 5th of the 5th), and completes a Chanel-themed year for Tatou, who plays the lead in the upcoming biopic of its eponymous founder, Coco.
Like Kidman's Parisian-themed piece, which had Moulin Rouge's Baz Luhrmann at the helm, Chanel called on a director familiar to its leading lady for the commercial, this time Jean- Pierre Jeunet, who directed Tatou in her breakthrough film Amelie.
Following the story of two strangers who meet aboard a night train, the film can be seen from today at www.chaneln5.com.
