Having Alexander Wang’s muse as the new face of BOSS The Scent For Her is a no brainer. With countless campaigns, covers, and runway shows under her belt, she is ranked as one of the top it-models in the industry. Wang stumbled across Ewer’s photograph on a blog, then sent the image to casting director Anita Bitton who said "Lets find this girl!” The rest is history.
The 23-year-old German beauty, with unmistakable facial structure and blonde locks to make Rapunzel #jel is a firm favourite here at MC HQ. Her cool laid-back, ‘be yourself’ attitude is not only inspiring but 100% empowering.
About the fragrance: take it from the MC Beauty Desk, the scent isn’t what you’d expect. This is the most sophisticated seduction. The honeyed peaches are light, fresh and delicate. An interesting blend of Osmanthus flower, Cocoa and Freesia Bloom means this perfume is a great option for layering scent. It isn’t overpowering, so spritzing more only refreshes the intensity. The aesthetics of the bottle are a total treat too: the juice is the colour of rosé with a feminine-style cufflink as the lid of the flacon.
The ethos of the new scent is all about allure and seduction: feeling powerful and feminine – which may sound like hard work (we resemble anything but feminine on the weekend, wearing our PJs with a face full of Sudocrem.) But don’t overlook the power of scent. This freesia, honeyed peach fragrance does the hard work for you (Although it won’t rid you of the Sudocrem look.)
“Scent plays a very crucial role inseduction for me,” Anna told us. “When I wear Hugo Boss The Scent For Her, I feel more confident, attractive and seductive – it’s the perfect fragrance for a date.” Her application method of choice is to walk through a cloud of the fragrance. (*Runs home and walks through fragrance cloud*. Nope. Still not Anna Ewers.)
