Alexa Chung has been revealed as the new face of Nails Inc. Not only that, but she's collaborated with the brand on a range of new polishes, too.

We popped down to meet Alexa herself at the launch of the range last night, where she told us why she's so happy about this latest beauty project. 'I don't like my clothes to be too fussy, but my nails are a whole new ball game and I can get creative,' she said.

'Nails should be an extension of fashion rather than an extension of beauty,' explained Nails Inc founder Thea Green when quizzed about the latest collection.

Alexa's six-colour AW14 collection is said to be 'fabric-inspired' (with names like 'Alexa Cashmere', 'Alexa Lace' and 'Alexa Sequin') and will be launched in August.
