This might just be the most affordable AND effective skincare range ever
'Everyone deserves beautiful skin.'
'Everyone deserves beautiful skin.'
Today sees the launch of a 20-piece skincare range and not one of the products cost more than £5. What is this witchcraft?! It's the collaboration between ex-Glamour beauty director, Alex Steinherr and high street chain Primark.
Having worked closely behind the scenes with the brand for some years, Steinherr wanted to create a total skincare solution that she could recommend to her readers and followers. Combining her years of experience from sitting on a beauty desk, with two years research and development with labs based around the world, Steinherr is making good skincare accessible to the masses. She's ensured that the line is completely cruelty-free and fragrance free. As she says, 'everybody deserves beautiful skin.'
Rather than focusing on skin types, there are five ranges based on concerns - dehydration, tiredness, dullness, congestion and urban skin.
Our beauty editor's top five recommendations:
Plump & Glow Facial in a Stick, £5
You can use this as a cleansing balm and as a face mask. It will remove every trace of dirt and make-up, when worked into the skin and then when left on it helps regenerate.
Maximum Moisture Supreme Sheet Mask, £3
What's the most annoying thing about sheet masks? The fact that the serum drips down your neck and creates a total mess. Not this one - using the latest Korean sheet mask technology, there's no dripping and no mess. You can literally go about your business with it on. Best sheet mask ever.
Pore Balance Anti-blackhead Stick, £5
If blocked pores are your biggest bugbear, then you need this stick in your life. When you skin is wet, rub the stick all over the problem area - congested noses, we're looking at you - and it helps dislodge debris, dirt and dead skin cells from your pores to prevent future spots. All. For. £5.

Pore Balance Blemish Rescue Stickers, £3
If you do get a spot, then these little stickers work much like coldsore stickers. They're seeped in Salicylic acid and Tea tree oil, so when popped onto the offending zit they get to work at reducing the inflammation.
Sleep Spa Overnight Lip Mask, £4
Yes it looks just like a lip balm, but it's a bloody good one. Pop it on over night and the Hyaluronic acid, Willowherb and Chamomile will plump and smooth lips by morning. Ever so slightly tinted, it has a perfecting quality to it, which means that it can be worn during the day as well.
Look out for the range in selected stores.
