Anne Hathaway has published a powerful message about post-baby bodies to fellow new mothers, urging them to, 'love what you have been given' on Instagram.
It's not the first time Anne has taken to Instagram to send a message to the world - remember her pregnancy announcement picture in 2015? We're big fans of spreading body positivity, and this message is an extremely important one.
Uploading a picture of some jeans she was customising into shorts yesterday, Anne posted: 'There is no shame in gaining weight during pregnancy (or ever). There is no shame if it takes longer than you think it will to lose the weight (if you want to lose it at all). There is no shame in finally breaking down and making your own jean shorts because last summer's are just too dang short for this summer's thighs. Bodies change. Bodies grow. Bodies shrink. It's all love (don't let anyone tell you otherwise.)'
The Devil Wears Prada actress became a mum earlier this year - she and husband Adam Schulman welcomed their first baby, their son, Jonathan, in March. And it seems she's really loving being a mum to little 'Johnny', as she called him on The Ellen Degeneres Show earlier this year.
The star also revealed that being a new mum has given her newfound confidence when it comes to working out: 'I would normally walk in [to the gym] and feel so intimidated, but I walk in and I'm like, "Yeah I work out with 5 pound weights, but I pushed a baby out of my body! I feel good right now. So I don't care what I look like, I feel great!"' Naturally this got her a lot of applause.
