A new study claims to have pinpointed the ideal age gap for a lasting relationship. After surveying 3,000 people, it found that a difference in age of just one year is most conducive to long-term love. According to findings from their participants, the higher the numbers of years between you and your partners, the sooner you're likely to break up.
Call us sceptical, but we're not so sure we agree. Namely because if some of our favourite celebrity couples have taught us anything, it's that age ain't nothing but a number.
From recently married couples like Olivier Sarkozy and Mary-Kate Olsen, to long-time duo Jay-Z and Beyoncé, and seriously hot twosome Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jason Statham, these guys are proof an age gap is no obstacle to love.
