We caught up to talk inspiration and her own experiences of mentoring.
What fired your ambition to start your own business? Years ago, beauty retailing in the UK was confined to high street chemists or department stores. Throughout my travels, I discovered amazing perfumeries and pharmacies, staffed by highly trained individuals offering expert advice. I encountered specialist beauty brands created by experts in their respective fields and many of these products had never been seen in Europe. It seemed logical to put together top quality products with expert advisors.

What’s been a career high? Opening our Manhattan flagship store in 2008.
What’s the best careers advice that you’ve been given? If you see an opportunity to do something better than it’s currently being done, then go for it. Aim to be the best you possibly can. It’s equally important to hire people who share your passion.
