Female equality in the work place (or lack of it) has never been a hotter topic. With new reports stating that our body image is at an all time low and studies showing that our work/life balance is out of sync, one might be forgiven for thinking that being a woman isn’t all that in 2011.

Many of you have been voicing your concerns on Twitter and Facebook but to find out more about the challenges faced by women every day, we’re launching the Marie Claire Women & Work Survey in partnership with everywoman – the organisation that works to raise the status of women in the UK economy.

In the survey we’re asking key questions about working practices today around flexible hours, money, motivation and the all-important office politics. We want to hear about your experiences and how work impacts on other areas of your life.

Have you delayed starting a family due to work? Has your relationship suffered due to the amount of time you need to spend at work? Have you encountered sexism in the workplace? Tell us about it in our survey.

By filling in the Marie Claire Women & Work Survey, in partnership with everywoman, you’ll be in with a chance of winning a £500 gift card to spend at my-wardrobe.com (see my-wardrobe.com/styleguide for shopping inspiration!)

And if you think you might be the next Jo Malone, Tamara Mellon, Karren Brady or Natalie Massenet, sign up to the 2011 Inspire & Mentor campaign.
