Me, in 140 characters:

Trust your instinct, try to stay on top of change and work with really, really clever people.
Ultimate career inspiration?
I am totally inspired by brave and creative entrepreneurs. It’s amazing how many new, groundbreaking businesses are being launched at the moment with “I wish I’d thought of that” ideas behind them. I’ve never known a more exciting time of change and opportunity. I feel lucky to have caught a piece of it. What career advice would you give your younger self?
Learn to love a spreadsheet – you’re going to spend an awful lot of time with them.

What life advice would you give your younger self?
Wear more SPF 30, you idiot.
My look is…
Borderline age-inappropriate. Skinny jeans or a short shift dress with a tailored jacket. Ankle-boots with absolutely everything. I recently had multiple piercings in my left ear as a lame attempt at mid-life rebellion. It’s the only time I’ve ever seen a flicker of respect in the eyes of my teenage daughters. I can’t get enough of…
My current obsessions are Dr Foster on the BBC, Nardulli’s black-cherry icecream, Sunday Riley’s Luna facial oil, Michael Fassbender in anything, and blow LTD’s new Prime & Protect Styling Cream which makes your hair smell like a Provencal garden.
If money was no object I’d…
Travel, travel, travel, ticking off every weird place on my bucket list. If I could take my current obsessions with me, that would be a lovely bonus. Early mornings or late nights?
Definitely late nights. I’m always the last to turn off the lights and am an absolute gremlin in the mornings. It’s one of the reasons why we launched our Fast Beauity On Demand app – getting a blow dry and makeup done at home, from 7am, makes the mornings so much more bearable. Work-life balance or always on?
Like a lot of women, I’m always attempting a balance, but never quite getting there. In fact I think balance is a myth. It’s the sparkly-pink unicorn of our generation. Once we realise it doesn’t actually exist, we can stop beating ourselves up and start relaxing a bit. Muddling along is Okay.
Twitter or Instagram?
Actually, I’m loving a bit of Facebook at the moment, particularly as I have a lot of family and friends in Australia, who are brilliant at uploading picture galleries.
