The Ceremony
Onlookers said the glittering nuptials were a sight to behold, with the happy couple gazing lovingly into each others eyes as they took their vows. 'Mike held his arm around Hilary for most of the romantic, candlelit ceremony, and they both looked extremely happy,' one eyewitness told American magazine, People. 'It was one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever seen, another onlooker added. Absolutely stunning. They thought of every last detail and it was an incredible sight.'
The A-List Wedding Planner
The Lizzie Maguire star didn t leave anything to chance on her big day. It s thought she enlisted celebrity wedding planner Mindy Weiss - whose previous A-list clients include Gwen Stefani, Adam Sandler and Jessica Simpson - to organise the nuptials. It's thougt the planner was also on hand to ensure everything ran smoothly during the ceremony.
The Dress
Hilary wore a stunning Vera Wang gown complete with elaborate white train - to walk down the candlelit the aisle, and was escorted by her mum and four bridesmaids, including sister Haylie. Speaking of her dress choice earlier this year, the star said: 'I want it to be girlie and kind of on the bigger side but not too overwhelming because I m so small. I mean, people would be like, "Whoa, cupcake!"'
The Venue
Hilary and Mike weren't short of options when it came to choosing a location for their wedding. But eschewing glitzy Hollywood venues, the private pair opted for an intimate wedding at the exclusive £29 million San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara. It's thought they chose the sprawling Californian venue - a favourite with Jennifer Lopez, among other A-listers - for 'its sense of Old Hollywood glamour and romantic style.' The couple exchanged vows at the Mediterranean Villa La Quinta around 8 p.m under a beautiful arch of flowers.

The Fitness Regime
Hilary was in great shape on her happy day, after stepping up her fitness regime in the weeks before the ceremony. 'Instead of a five-minute cardio warm-up and a five-minute cardio cool-down, maybe we extend those cardio phases to 15 minutes before and after our workout,' her personal trainer Harley Pasternak revealed of her pre-wedding workout. 'She looks toned and tight. I m really proud of her, she looks fantastic.'
The Ring
The 22-year-old blushing bride and her hockey player beau got engaged in back in February, after dating for two years. Romantic Mike popped the question with a million dollar sparkler during a trip to Hawaii, and the rest is history. 'I've never met anyone who can say a bad word about him,' the star gushed of her new hubby back in 2009. He's generous, caring and sunny. We just laugh our heads off.
The Honeymoon
The day after the ceremony, the excited newlyweds were spotted sneaking out to meet a private jet, waiting to whisk them away on honeymoon. The pair look looked the picture of happiness, having partied the night away and finally tied the knot - congratulations, guys!
