Live the royal life

If you're planning a wedding, you'll know that there are a hundred and one things to think about. The seating plan, the flowers, the favours - every last detail needs to be thought through and organised.

On top of that, finding a venue can be an absolute nightmare. As well as the pressure of picking the right place, you've also got to consider the capacity, location and the extra long waiting lists.

But what would you say if we told you that you can get hitched on actual royal property? If you're looking for an extra special wedding venue, then Kensington Palace is one to consider.

If you take a look at the palace's website, you'll find that you can host the ceremony in the apartments as long as you have 150 guests or less. For a bigger party, you're permitted to use the orangery which fits a whopping 1,000 people.

When it's time for the reception, you can seat up to 100 guests in the state apartments, or 300 of your nearest and dearest in the Kensington Palace Pavilion.

Famous faces who have tied the knot at Kensington Palace Gardens include Poppy Delevingne and heiress Nicky Hilton. So where do we book?

It's only available for weddings on certain days of the year, and it's licensed for civil weddings and partnerships with up to 50 events held there every year, according to E!.

While the price isn't listed on the official website (you'll have to enquire), the magazine reports that it can cost an eye-watering £18,000.

That figure will include a wedding planner, a taxi service, daytime cleaning, on-site security and a private entrance to Kensington Palace for your guests.

Better get saving.
