And with it only being an hour train ride back into central Paris, there’s always time to head around the boutiques and bistros en route home to the Eurostar…

THE ROOMS

Le Barn: where Farmhouse-modern meets Parisian chic, the huge patios & balconies offer scenic views across the paddocks and elegant touches such as the aroma-rich natural bathing products, organic coffee and vintage bedside books, lend a bijou vibe to countryside cool interiors.

THE FOOD

Served around large wooden tables, guests can dine within the informal conservatory Jardin d’Hiver or the cosy La Serre restaurant. The food is first class, much is grown in the garden or gathered from local suppliers – bio-diverse & seasonal specialties dominate the menu, but all are typically french bistro in style. Ranging from cool couples to young families, the dining experience was vibrant yet not overcrowded. Breakfast, was delicious selection of fresh pastries, farmhouse eggs & fresh preserves, whilst dinner was steak frites avec beacoup de fromage & delicious regional wines

THE SPA

A dedicated menu of therapeutic massage treatments including Ayurveda, plus Hammam & outdoor hot tubs, mean you can have an invigorating steam or bathe whatever the weather. It's the dream.

THE BEST BIT

The stunning natural surroundings mean you easily forget your proximity to the bustling metropolis that lies just an hour away. From the architecture of the vintage mill, to the contemporary barn conversions, this wellness center offers a habitat geared to well-being & relaxation set within a beautiful rustic setting, with every room boasting amazing views across the forest
