Kate Moss
Jetsetter Kate Moss has visited a lot of hotels. But on her downtime, the star is often spotted at the Hotel Le Toiny on the island of St. Barts in the Caribbean. An A-list stomping ground, the hotel has also been visited by Mariah Carey, Uma Thurman and Gwyneth Paltrow. Known for its privacy and exclusivity, Hotel Le Toiny is the perfect hiding place for La Moss when she needs some R&R. All suites and villas have their own pools, snorkelling equipment, iPods and plasma televisions, while the concierge will arrange any other activity you could think of. Big game fishing anyone? Or maybe a trip to the spa? Sounds like bliss.
Gwyneth Paltrow
We know this isnt exactly jet setting, but Gwyneth Paltrow has fallen rather in love with the uber-exclusive Connaught Hotel in London. The star recently stayed there with hubby Chris Martin while building work was carried out on their Holland Park mansion. The pair stayed in The Apartment, a suite based on the top floor of the hotel, which costs a whopping £8,500 a night. But Ms Paltrow would highly recommend it. In fact, she enjoyed her stay so much, she decided to try and recreate the décor in her own pad. I was stunned by the dressing room. I ordered the David Collins designed white lacquered dressing table for my own home, she wrote on her website, Goop.com.
Keira Knightley
Grenadine House was home to lovely Keira Knightley when she filmed Pirates of the Caribbean on the beautiful island of St Vincent in the Grenadines. The islands only boutique hotel, it has just 20 exclusive rooms, all beautifully furnished with private balconies to admire the show-stopping views. A definite must-see for history buffs, the house dates back to 1765, and although its been renovated, is packed full of original features. Take a stroll in the garden, or sample the Sapodilla dining room we hear Keira loved the authentic Creole dishes. And the price tag isnt as sky-high as you might think for such an A-list haunt rooms start from around £170 per night.

A real rockstar resort, the exclusive Ria Park is also popular with the likes of Lenny Kravitz and Michael Schumacher. With Mediterranean décor that oozes glamour, rooms overlook the beautiful blue sea, although Sheryl is more likely to be found camped out in the deluxe suite. Guests can enjoy countless activities around the resort, or relax in the spa or thalassotherapy pool if it all gets too much. If this is what the rock star life is all about, were so there!
Jade Jagger
Socialite and model Jade Jagger spends a fair amount of her time jetting around the globe, but when it comes to the question of her favourite hotel in the world, there is only one: The Mercer in New York. Located in trendy Soho, the hotel offers all sorts of celeb-friendly services, including 24hour room service, chauffeurs, complimentary dog walking and a packing and unpacking service. A perfect home from home.
Nicole Kidman
When Nicole Kidman married Keith Urban, they jetted off to the exclusive St Regis Bora Bora Resort in Tahiti for their honeymoon. And doesnt it look divine? Villas come with their own private pools or Jacuzzis and a butler to attend to your every need. Or if you really want to push the boat out, the Royal Estate has a private beach, as well as its own chefs kitchen and spa. It encompasses more than 8,000 square feet with three bedrooms, and is by far the largest in the Tahiti islands. The perfect place for private honeymooners.
Katy Perry & Russell Brand
Only the best would do when Russell Brand proposed to Katy Perry over Christmas. The feisty comedian whisked his new love off on romantic break to the ultra luxurious Taj Rambagh Palace hotel in Jaipur, India. The pair stayed in the presidential suite, where they enjoyed their own sunken Jacuzzi, circular bed and personal butler. Russell certainly knows how to sweep a girl off her feet!
Britney Spears
Britneys a massive fan of beautiful Maui in Hawaii, and checks into the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea whenever she gets the chance. And we must admit, the tropical spa, beautiful beaches and luxurious suits (some with adjoining butlers kitchens!) do sound appealing. The lucky star can choose from some serious shopping, a spot of whale watching or a relaxing spa massage. Or just an idlyllic day around the pool. Jealous? Us?!
Sandra Bullock
When youre as famous as Oscar-nominee Sandra Bullock, it must be nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood. Which is why shes been spotted on trips to Spring Creek Ranch in Jackson Hole Wyoming. Set in the middle of a wildlife sanctuary, the luxurious rooms and log cabins offer spectacular views of the Teton Mountain range. Perfect for an in-demand a-lister to steal some time away. And Sandra hasnt kept the secret to herself. Christina Ricci, Uma Thurman and Matthew McConaughey have all been spotted holidaying there.
Madonna
No hotel does chic, movie star glamour better than the Hotel Du Cap Eden Rock on the beautiful French Riviera, which is where Madonna likes to stay when shes in town. Linking Cannes and Nice, the super-exclusive town of Cap de Antibes is packed to the rafters with execs and a-listers during the Cannes film festival. And its not hard to see why. The hotel is built on a spectacular terrace by the sea, we hear the restaurants are second to none, and the outdoor rose garden beauty centre only uses products by La Prarie. Sounds like heaven.
Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart
A-listers or no A-listers, rumoured Twilight couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have kept their feet firmly on the ground when it comes to holiday destinations. No Hawaiian resort for them! Instead when they jetted off over New Year, the pair chose to stay in the small town of Ventnor in the Isle of Wight. The weather might not have been wonderful, and there are no celeb eateries, but the pair wandered around virtually unnoticed for the whole week, which for them is something that money just cant buy!
Dannii Minogue & Kris Smith
Newly pregnant Danni Minogue and her model beau Kris Smith often jet off to the five star Atlantis, The Palm resort in Dubai. Dannii fell in love with the hotel after filming her Judges home segment of the X-Factor there with sister Kylie, and has been a regular visitor ever since. Dannii and Kris love lounging in private cabanas and dining at Nobu. Yum!
Beyonce & Jay Z
The Sandy Lane in Barbados is the only place to stay when you want to see and be seen. A favourite with Beyonce and Jay Z, as well as countless other celebs - Tiger woods married Elin Nordgren here, and Simon Cowell takes his mum every Christmas - it is super, super exclusive. Rooms are large, stylish and all have beautiful views, or alternatively you could opt for a villa, which comes complete with its own staff and special private entrance. Bea and her husband have recently been named Hollywoods highest earning couple, and thats probably a good thing as rooms at the Sandy Lane dont come cheap. Doubles start from around £3000 a night, or more in high season. In fact if youre thinking of going over Christmas, thatll be a 14 night minimum stay, which will set you back around £42,000. Ouch!
Claudia Schiffer
When Ms Schiffer needs to relax, she heads straight to the luxurious Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai. And having seen the inside of many hotel rooms during her jetsetting days, we feel we can safely assume Claudias favourite is one of the best. Dominating the Dubai skyline, the exclusive home from home is a suite only hotel with floor to ceiling windows and an Hermes stocked bathroom. You can request a room complete with its own butler, and the hotel is even accessed via its own bridge.
Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony
For romantic getaways, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony choose to check in to the San Yisidro ranch in southern California. The luxurious celeb hideout has also been home to Gwyneth Paltrow and Oprah Winfrey, and Julia Roberts honeymooned here with hubby Danny Moder in July 2004. The ranch boasts forty-one individually decorated private cottages, winding along San Ysidro's hillside creek, and animal lovers can even make the most of the Privileged Pets program. Pets can pop their paw print in their very own registration book, sleep on signature bedding and enjoy an in-room pet massage from a mere $65 per half hour.
Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie
Brad and Angelina made headlines when they set up camp in Namibia while Ange was expecting their first baby, Shiloh. And they place they chose to stay? The Burning Shore resort in Long Beach. Set among the sand dunes, the resort has just seven luxury rooms and five luxury suites, making it the perfect hideout for media-shy celebs. Brad and Angelina certainly disappeared off our radar for a while.
Catherine Zeta Jones
For a woman who exudes old Hollywood glamour like Catherine Zeta Jones, there is certainly no hotel more glamorous than the Hotel Cipriani in Venice. The screen siren heads there whenever shes in town, and we can certainly see why. The best of the beautiful rooms look directly out over the romantic Venetian waterways and St Marks Square and are stocked with the fluffiest dressing gowns and slippers, and the most luxurious Bulgari and Penhaligons toiletries. And if not just any room will do, the Palladio suite is the ultimate in luxury. With 180-degree views of the lagoon, it also comes complete with a private Jacuzzi, outdoor pool and its own personal butler.
Fergie and Josh Duhamel
Glamorous Black Eyed Peas songstress Fergie and her husband Josh Duhamel love to visit the One&Only Reethi Rah resort in the beautiful Maldives. With over 130 luxurious beach villas all at least 20 metres apart, its the perfect place for the stars to kick back, relax and enjoy some much needed downtime. The perfect way to banish winter blues!
Cheryl Cole
When Cheryl Cole chose to jet off on holiday without her hubby over New Year, her trip made headlines. Our favourite songstress was snapped soaking up the sun on the luxurious Clifton Beach resort in South Africa, not with Ashley Cole, but with her lovely mum instead. Cheryl relaxed on the beautiful beaches, and saw in the New Year at US businessman Preston Haskell's lavish £800,000 party.
