Yet to book your summer holiday? Here are the 30 landmarks you've got to see, according to British Airways
If you're anything like us, we've been struggling to decide where to book our summer holiday...at least we were until we saw these 30 top locations commissioned by British Airways as part of their ‘Inspire Us’ travel photography challenge.
Choices, choices...but which winning landmark came out on top?
It may come as little surprise (to anyone who has tried recreating Audrey Hepburn's legendary 'Bonjour, Paris!' from classic movie Funny Face) that the majority of the 2,000 Brits who were asked listed Paris' Eiffel Tower as their top attraction. But what about the other 29 locations?
Other top attractions included The Grand Canyon in USA, The Taj Mahal in India, Pompeii in Italy, The Great Sphinx in Egypt and the Great Wall of China in...well...China, of course...
Taj Mahal, UNESCO World Heritage Site, Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India
The UK didn't lose out to it's exotic rivals, however: Big Ben, Stonehenge, Houses of Parliament, Edinburgh Castle and Loch Ness all featured on the 30-strong bucket list.
