So 2018 has been an interesting year. We watched true love blossom between Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer, the first ever uterus transplant baby was born, and there has been news about Brexit all day every day.
But what has the general public been Googling the most over the past twelve months? Do we care about the fact that we didn't win the World Cup? Are we desperate for Killing Eve 2? Is our obsession with Fortnite healthy?
According to Google Trends, the UK wants to know about Meghan Markle (no surprises there), A Star Is Born and the Spice Girls. Girl power.
But what else did we want to know about?

The world went wild for Fortnite, and the love of the game is still going strong.
7. Demi Lovato
The singer made headlines when she was reportedly taken to hospital following a drugs overdose in the summer.
8. Ant McPartlin
Presenter Ant split from his wife and was arrested for drink driving early in 2018.
9. A Star Is Born
Thank God that there was at least one person in the room that believed in Lady Gaga, because the film has been nominated for an impressive number of awards.

Goats eyes, fermented egg smoothes and buckets full of bugs - this year we actually recognised the majority of celebs and Holly Willoughby did a stellar job filling in for Ant McPartlin.

Richard Madden had us on the edge of our seats as badass bodyguard David Budd.

The show was HUGE this year, mainly because Jack and Dani made us believe in true love.

Probably for the aforementioned drama caused by Roxanne Pallett.
