Ever dreamt of owning one of his designer dresses? Well here's your chance to spend an evening with the gifted designer...
Like us, you’ve probably dreamt of owning one of McQueen’s designer dresses and you’ve probably even visited the Alexander McQueen exhibition (we’ve definitely been a few times) at the Victoria & Albert Museum but have you heard about the McQueen show at the Theatre Royal Haymarket?
Starring Stephen Wight as Alexander McQueen – his transformation into the late designer is something to be applauded – the show will take you on a beautiful – and haunting – voyage into the visionary imagination and dark dream world of the late artist.
The shows follows the mysterious Dahlia after her break-in and almost-successful attempt to steal a dress from McQueen that she couldn’t afford.
You’ll be taken on a journey that follows the designer and Dahlia as they take a wild trip through the streets of London at night, visiting all the places and people that shaped McQueen and his art, from his Mayfair home to the bars he loved to visit with friends.
The genius behind this play is, James Phillips who has worked on everything from The White Whale to City Stories.
The show really is a revelatory insight into the imagination of one of Britain’s most iconic modern artists.
