To celebrate Valentine's Day the Aubin cinema in Shoreditch is hosting Edible Cinema. It's a brilliant and quirky new way to watch movies, where you're provided with tray of different foods which have been carefully matched to the film. On Sunday 17 February you and your special someone can munch and drink your way through Some Like It Hot, starring Marilyn Monroe. Tickets are priced £20-26 per person.

Clos Maggiore
Clos Maggiore in Covent Garden is commonly known as the most romantic restaurant in London, so where else would you think to spend Valentine's Day? This year head chef Marcellin Marc has created a special five-course menu which, at an extra cost, will be accompanied by expertly paired wines. Should the mood so take you, Clos Maggiore will even provide a bespoke chocolate box in which to hide an engagement ring. Tres romantique, non?

The Bingham Hotel
The Bingham Hotel in Richmond is offering The Bingham Boudoir Package. Priced from £669.69 per couple, the romantic treat includes chef Shay Cooper's six-course tasting menu, a river-view room complete with a whirlpool bath, Alain Thienot Champagne, hand-made chocolates by William Curley and breakfast the following day. The hotel's in-house mixologist, Ciprian Lazar, will also be on hand to shake and stir a selection of Love Potion Cocktails, while there is a full list of spa treatments on offer, too.

The Stafford Hotel Riding Club
The Stafford Hotel in London has joined forces with The Riding Club to provide an equestrian-themed Valentine's Day package. Guests staying in the very romantic stable suites overlooking the secret courtyard will have a direct line to The Riding Club London's equestrian concierge service. There, all your horsey needs will be catered for, whether it's a horse waiting for you first thing for a morning ride, an after hours shopping session for jodhpurs or even a VIP tour of the royal stables. Each of the stable suites will also come kitted out with rocking horses for training purposes, bridles and saddles, a dandy brush, polo mints and sugar cubes in the minibar as well as access to the finest riding gear.

Tom Aikens Restaurant
The good people at Tom Aikens' restaurant in South Kensington have thought of everything. And we mean everything. As part of their Valentine's Concierge package, prices start from £145, they will provide a Mercedes S Class to take you and your beau to the restaurant, where you'll be greeted by custom flower bouquets from Wheelers Flowers and hand-made chocolates. The restaurant's sommelier will then match wines to the special six-course menu, before you are whisked home in a chauffeur driven car with a bottle of chilled Laurent Perrier Rose to enjoy as a night cap.
