London Dog Week is coming and we're so ready
Excited? Same.
Excited? Same.
Forget London Fashion Week - London Dog Week is now a thing and we couldn't be more excited.
Whether you own a pet pooch or dream about the day when you do, this is a week you won't want to miss. Make some space on your phone because your camera roll is about to become a stream of nothing but adorable delfies.
From Monday 25th March until Sunday 31st March dogs will be taking over the capital as part of London Dog Week. There will be a range of activities and pop ups for you to get involved in, from fashion shows, grooming spas, competitions, office dog treat boxes, doggy dinner parties, the cuddle club and charity night walks.
London Dog Week co-founder, Lois Mallet Walker, told Pretty52: 'A week after my mum passed, I bought my tiny poochon puppy, Pedro and it was love at first sight. He helped bring happiness back into my life and I truly discovered that unconditional love that dogs bring.
'I know both myself and [co-founder] Aneka have both gone through mental and physical health challenges and our dogs have really helped us through it.'
Aneka also told the site: 'London is viewed as one of the loneliest cities in the world, yet dogs are natural people magnets and if we can use their ability to connect people across the capital, then we think it's a great way for people to forge friendships. I really believe that dogs are instrumental in making London less lonely.'
