London's most fabulous location for brunch - perfect for celebrating special occasions
Where? The Landmark, 222 Marylebone Road, London NW1 6JQ (020 7631 8000, www.landmarklondon.co.uk)
Five-star hotel, five-star brunch? Absolutely. Bacon butties and bucks fizz this is not. With live music, limitless champagne and mouth-watering food, not to mention the location - an awe-inspiring eight-story glass roof atrium - this is special occasion central.
Who's dining? As well as Marylebone regulars (the hotel is a well-kept secret of the super wealthy who live in the area), out-of-towners circle the dessert tables alongside sophisticated birthday girls and, on the day we visited, the most well behaved hen party I've ever witnessed.
Highlights from the buffet? The Eggs Benedict was out of this world, as were the delicious salads, beetroot-marinated smoked salmon and seared tuna. The other half heartily recommends the roast beef to follow the fish, although my savoury appetite sated by that point, I'd suggest leaving a little room for the profiteroles and chocolate fountain instead.
Need to know? Champagne Brunch at The Landmark London costs £75 per person and is served from 12.30pm til 3pm every Sunday. Reservations are essential.
