Barcelona, Stockholm and Paris are all great places to visit in summer but if you’re looking for the ultimate Instagram-worthy spots, head to Reykjavik in Iceland for a dip in the steamy Blue Lagoon hot pool or to the beautiful streets of Venice waterways for an unforgettable gondola ride.

Spring a surprise date

Whether you’ve just started dating, been in a relationship for years or simply want to share the love with your girl squad, secretly planning an escape to the countryside or coast is guaranteed to impress. All you have to do is tell them a place and time to meet you and leave the rest as a surprise. Why not pack a picnic and a bottle of fizz, too?

We can’t wait for this summer’s hit film Me Before You andwhat better way to watch it than on the big screen? Based on the best-selling novel of the same name, it stars the gorgeous Emilia Clarke as Lou, who finds love when she’s least expecting it with onscreen man-of-the-moment Sam Clafin, as wheel-chair bound Will. The pair find their lives change in ways neither one could have imagined. Sigh.
