We know from personal experience that there are a hell of a lot of douchebags out there in the dating sphere, and especially on Tinder - the dating app everyone's still talking about. But this man has to take the biscuit.
Relationship and dating writer Lauren Crouch, who runs a Tumblr blog entitled 'No Bad Dates Just Good Stories', has outlined a recent encounter that despite her positive outlook, we'd have to call a 'bad date'. Very, very bad.
Lauren explains that she met a man on Tinder, and agreed to meet at a tube station (she wanted to meet at a pub but he said no). After refusing to go to a nice independent coffee shop because he had to cross the road, the man insisted on going to Costa (who said romance was dead?), then invited her round for dinner, which she declined, quite reasonably, as they had only just met. He then said he had to go home to be there for his Ocado delivery.
It could have ended there and been just another disastrous Tinder date to write off. But then things took a turn for the worse, as you can see in the text exchanges below (as you can imagine, Lauren's texts are in blue)...
Seriously, words fail us. Imagine what he'd demand back after ending a serious relationship?
Though something tells us that with this attitude, he's never going to have one of those...
