This is how often the average Brit has sex each week

It’s a question that we often find ourselves asking – is everyone else having more sex than me?
We know that this is the most popular time of the week to have sex (although we’re not digging getting up that early, to be honest), and that this is the ideal time a kiss should last. These people have even shared the most unexpected things their partners have done during sex and it’s pretty awkward.
But reading all this can make you feeling like everyone is doing it except you.
Most single people imagine that the couples are getting kinkier than 50 Shades of Grey every night of the week, because why not if you have sex on tap?
On the other hand, people in long-term relationships are in bed by 9pm with a cup of tea wondering how many sex-ccessful Tinder matches are happening right now.

However, a new study has revealed that we need not be panicked that everyone else is having way more sex than we are.
Mintel surveyed 2,000 adults in the UK and only 3% of them claimed that they were having sex every day.
In fact, only one in five said that they were getting their groove on a few times per week.
So if you’re imagining everyone else is getting their fill but you, stop. You’re fine.
The results show that on average we’ll have sex 5,778 times in our lifetime, which would roughly equate to 117 days of solid sexing. When you put it that way…
So think of that the next time your single friend raves about her fumbles on Bumble, or your loved-up mate makes her boyfriend sound like Christian Grey.
Just make sure if you do try the above sexathon in one go you’ve got a good stash of lube.
