Who knew?

If you've ever wanted to know where the most desirable place to live in the UK, you've probably wondered what the salaries are like in that city or considered the weather, or the schools etc.

But, have you ever thought about where has best or worst signal?

The constant staycation challenge across the UK may be trying to find somewhere that feels as away from the city as possible with decent WiFi but who knew we had to consider our cities, too!?

Mobile network tester RootMetrics have looked into where has the best mobile phone coverage across the UK and you'll be surprised to know that London is actually one of the worst three.

It turns out that the denser the city and its population, the more smartphones there are vying for signal which actually reduces the strength in general - and this may also explain why city dweller's battery life is so bad, because your phone is working harder to get a connection.
