Lidl releases a luxury candle advent calendar and we want it
The planning for Christmas is on. Yes it feels like it's all starting a little early this year, but what's wrong with being prepared? There are so many festive things out there right now that it's hard not to get caught up in it - there's the food (Christmas Colin the Caterpillar and Christmas crisps, hello), there's fashion (Disney Christmas jumpers are more than welcome), and then there's fizz (a six-litre bottle of Prosecco and Prosecco Christmas Crackers? We're in).
But when December hits, that's when things can really get going - and who doesn't love counting down the days to Christmas with a lovely advent calendar? This year we're being absolutely spoilt and there's something for everyone. If you're a beauty buff there are some magnificent beauty advent calendars out there, if you like a sweet treat behind every door there's a Percy Pig advent calendar just for you, and if you're a cheddar fiend there's even a cheese advent calendar. Nom.
However, if you're looking for something a Lidl different, the supermarket is releasing a luxury candle advent calendar for all your scented needs. Hurrah.
Brand new for 2019, the Lidl Luxury Collection Advent Calendar has 24 votive candles behind each door with fragrances like lavender, citrus and herb, pomegranate, frosted pine, frankincense, and apple and cinnamon.
The best part? It'll set you back just £19.99. Bargain.
You might want to buy one for yourself (alongside the many other advent calendars out there), or if you have a friend/colleague/fragrance-loving auntie who you know would be thrilled to have a bunch of deliciously scented candles in their home you could always pick one up for them.
After all, it is the season to be selfless.
