Create a chic place to sleep – no booking required…
Never mind room service and someone tidying up after us – one of the things we love the most about staying in a hotel is the boutique-style bed, sinkably soft rugs underfoot and lashings of elegant furnishings.
Which all makes getting home a bit disappointing. That is, until we discovered the stunning 5A Fifth Avenue collection from Dunelm. Sleek, sophisticated and oh-so glamorous, it brings together everything your bedroom needs for a smart new look – rich on-trend shades of inky midnight blue and graphite grey, glowing metallics, heavenly scents, and relaxed liveability.
Jess Gibson, successful blogger and founder of The Travelista said she was spoilt for choice when picking her favourite pieces. 'The Fifth Avenue range is so luxe and I think it would work perfectly in my living room and bedroom. All those gorgeous gold accents and glass trinkets – I wanted to take them all home with me! When you put everything together it looks so much more expensive.’
One of the stars of the collection is the gleaming Madison side table – with its timeless chrome finish and discreet Art Deco overtones, it can be dressed almost any way you like. These metallic finishes are complemented by the fabulous 5A textile collection. After all, what could be better after a long day than sliding into a bed dressed with crisp patterned linens, scattered with tactile faux fur and printed cushions, with a chunky knitted throw to snuggle up under?
The range also includes all the accessories you’ll need for an instant luxe look, like designer-style rugs. The smoky grey glass vases are perfect for pairing with a beautiful bouquet of lilies or peonies – and how about a pretty glass cloche for keeping your jewellery tidy and tangle-free?
We’ll be saving a space in our scheme for its larger pieces, too. Think stylish furniture in glass and metal, plus effortlessly stylish lamps and inspirational artwork.
