Calling All Brides On A Budget: Tesco Unveils Its £80 Wedding Dress...(Yes, Really!)
Is this the cheapest bridal gown on the market?
Is this the cheapest bridal gown on the market?
Washing up liquid? Check. Loo rolls? Check. Wedding dress?...It may not seem the most romantic - or even logical - detour when browsing groceries online, but in defiance of any doubters out there, Tesco has revealed its cost-cutting £80 wedding dress and it's got everyone talking about it.
Tesco’s clothing brand F&F has launched their bargain-basement bridal gown exclusively online - what's more, it is estimated to be the cheapest on the market. But will it win over any brides-to-be on a budget?
With a pretty lace neckline and capped sleeves, the modestly-cut dress doesn't boast any bells and whistles with its simple lace-overlay that darts straight down to the floor. But what it lacks in intricate detail it makes up for in price-tag, care instructions (its mixture of nylon, cotton and polyester means it can be handwashed at home) and accessibility (the dress is availability in all sizes up to size 18).
Whilst we're teetering on the fence on this one, we'd love to know your thoughts on Tesco's latest bridalwear flirtation. Does it get your vote? Would you add one to your basket or is design and exclusivity more important to you?
It's decision time, ladies. Is it a yay or nay? Cast your vote...
Oh, and if you're still looking to save on something more affordable, we've rounded up the best bridal gowns the high street has to offer - and trust us, you won't quite believe some of the price tags.
