Join Jennifer Aniston On The World's Best Diet, The Taco Cleanse. Yes, Really!
It’s here! It’s finally here! A diet we can actually get behind.
It’s here! It’s finally here! A diet we can actually get behind.
Bravo taco scientists, bravo!
Every once in a while a diet comes along that we can actually see ourselves attempting. Forget the Sirtfood diet, forget the 5:2, forget the Cabbage Soup diet even! We’re much more into the taco cleanse. Yes, the taco cleanse people!
A new vegan diet book, The Taco Cleanse: The Tortilla-Based Diet Proven To Change Your Life is making the rounds at the moment and we’ve already begun to bulk buy Old El Paso taco kits as we speak.
The book, which was written by four self-proclaimed ‘taco scientists’, Wes Allison, Stephanie Bogdanich, Molly R. Frisinger and Jessica Morris advises that followers should place every meal with a form of taco. Yes, that’s breakfast, lunch and dinner. The authors – who have billed it ‘The Last Diet You’ll Ever Need’ - have claimed that they all lost weight after eating tacos for 30 days straight.
While following the diet doesn’t guarantee weight loss, the book does lay out some of the other positives that come from following the plan, like how indulging in a breakfast taco has been ‘anecdotally proven to erase the ill effects of the previous night’s toxic indulgence,’ while a midday taco ‘frequently results in more positive physical effects.’ The authors also claim that consuming a spicy taco can ‘stimulate the nocturnal imagination and has been used by taco spiritualists to induce prophetic dreams.’
The book – which is currently sold out on Amazon – also claims that by following the diet ‘your chakras will become realigned into an optimal taco pattern.’ Finally! That’s what we’ve always been aiming for all of this time.

When a diet this genius comes along it’s not long before a celebrity following gathers and it seems that Jennifer Aniston may be the first to jump on the bandwagon. During an interview with Yahoo Food Jennifer was asked her opinion on the diet and promptly Googled it before saying, ‘I’m riveted [by the Taco Cleanse]. I can see that being something.’ Needless to say, she had ordered the book before the end of the interview and is probably ingesting a taco-based meal as we speak.
With the taco also being a late addition to the emoji keyboard last year, could 2016 be the year of the taco? We’re bloody well hoping so.
