Think you and your other half are on the same page about babies? It might be time to have that conversation.
A new survey, conducted by Vouchercloud.com, asked 1,732 childless Brits who have been cohabiting with their partners for two years about their thoughts on having kids. The results were NOT what we expected.
Firstly, the survey revealed that men think women should have a bun in the oven by 25. The general sentiment at MC HQ was: ‘Erm, what?’ But our bewilderment didn't stop there.
Women think 31 is the ideal age to have their first child, but men think 29 is when they should become a dad. Women, on the other hand, think the guys should wait another year before fatherhood.
The biggest surprise? 88 per cent of men want to have children, while only 79 per cent of women say the same. This has certainly thrown a spanner in the works.
