In need of a beauty fix? Then head to your fridge! Cheese - specifically crumbly Cheshire cheese - has been touted as the latest anti-wrinkle product by beauty gurus in the know.
Researchers claim that mixing the cheese with double cream produces a paste, which when applied to the face has an immediate effect on dry skin after just 15 minutes.
Milk is a common ingredient in many beauty products as it produces a natural exfoliant and nourishes skin.
Other miracle products that can be found in your kitchen include the humble banana and honey, which can be mixed together for a facemask, or you can mix the honey with water for a natural replenishing hair mask.
Similarly avocado, which has long been praised for its internal beautifying benefits, can also be mashed up with a couple of spoons of honey and applied to dry skin for a rejuvenating burst of moisture.
