Bedtox: UK women sleep themselves younger

Sales of beauty bedding on the rise
Women in the UK are hitting the sack in a bid to stay younger, new data reveals.
Sales of bed pillows and sheets made from high-tech fabrics and infused with copper particles has risen by 150 per cent in the last four weeks as the nation's women curl up in bed in order to sleep themselves younger.
feelunique.com, an online beauty boutique, has seen demand for copper-infused pillowcases and bed sheets rise sharply in the last month as a beauty bedding trend hits the UK.
The bedding is made by using nano-technology, the high-tech science that makes it possible to break down ingredients into ultra-fine particles, to weave particles of copper into the fabric, which reacts with the skin to stimulate collagen production and accelerate tissue growth.
Manufacturers claim that the super-tiny copper particles release more ions than ordinary molecules and will reduce the appearance of wrinkles after only six weeks.
Siobhan McDermott, head buyer of feelunique.com, said: ‘Beauty bedding is relatively new to the UK, but the huge surge in demand suggests that women are realising a £20 pillowcase is much better value than expensive Botox or plastic surgery - and much more comfortable too.’

Products include the Copalife Cosmetic Pillow Case (£20.49) whose technology is based on incorporating copper alloys into textiles, which subsequently offers antibacterial, antiviral, and anti-fungal properties. The Copalife fabric, which feels no different to ordinary bedding, accelerates the removal of blemishes, age spots, acne & skin discolouration whilst improving the firmness and elasticity of the skin.
Or you could invest in La Petite Cotton’s ‘Save My Face!’ pillow (£40.00) which has a revolutionary shape featuring a double crescent and is filled with the highest quality 100% hypo-allergenic synthetic fibre. Amongst other things the pillow prevents compression of skin tissues and muscles in the face and forehead. CLICK HERE FOR MORE HEALTH NEWS
