If it's good enough for Victoria Beckham...

Keeping your energy levels up throughout the working day can be difficult, and sometimes it feels like we go whole days feeling completely sleep deprived, whether we managed to get eight hours or four. The struggle is very real, people.

Fortunately, we've discovered a hack that's going to completely transform your energy levels.

Experts say that the key to feeling awake all day is all in your morning shower. The secret is to shower in cold water for 30 seconds, hot water for 30 seconds, followed by another 30 seconds of cold water. The golden rule? Always end with a blast of cold water if you want to feel more awake.

According to Entrepreneur, the benefits of this trick are almost endless. The change in temperature while you shower immediately increases blood flow, opens up the capillaries and energises both your mind and your body. Over time however, it improves your resilience to stress and the body's ability to burn fat, as well as increasing your levels of white blood cells.

Apparently it's something Victoria Beckham does every day and, when you consider how successful she is, it clearly works wonders.

This is definitely one we're going to try out to get us through the working week.

You're welcome.
