A Friends-themed cafe is popping up in Primark really soon
Friends may have ended back in 2004 (yep, it really has been 15 years already - feel old yet?), but our love for the show will never die. There are so many nuggets of information still being uncovered to this day, from the Friends alternative ending to Lisa Kudrow's heartbreaking revelation about acting on the show.
Sadly, there won't be a reunion and this is the real reason why (sob). But we do have Friendsfest every year, and now we're getting our very own Central Perk.
That's right - the world's most famous cafe (probably) from the TV show is coming to the UK and it's popping up in Primark. The fully branded Central Perk Cafe will feature a New York inspired menu, exclusive branded products and the opportunity to get your photo on the most recognisable sofa of the '90s.
And you can be safe in the knowledge that whatever cup of coffee you order will be poured into a compostable cup and will use ethically sourced coffee beans.
There's also a Friends shopping area, complete with themed clothing and mugs.
Could this be any more exciting?
The cafe will open on 12th June at the Manchester store, and Primark’s Director of New Business Development, Tim Kelly said: 'We are hugely excited to be bringing the first branded Central Perk Café in fashion retail in the UK to the British high street.
