A tasty light dinner, so simple to rustle up
A tasty light dinner, so simple to rustle up.
Prep time: 10 minutes Cooking time: 25 minutes Serves 4 2 rashers light bacon, cut into strips 1 large onion, peeled and thickly sliced 400 g lean steak, cut into strips 2 large carrots, peeled and thinly sliced ½ Chinese cabbage, shredded 3-5 drops Dukan Clementine flavouring 2 tsp cornflour 1 tsp soy sauce 2 tbsp torn coriander leaves Dry fry the bacon in a wok for 1 minute before adding the onion and steak. Continue to stir-fry for 6-7 minutes. Add the carrots and cabbage and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes. Mix the orange flavouring into 200 ml water and pour into the wok. Bring to the boil then simmer for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Mix the cornflour with the soy sauce and a little water then pour into the wok and stir until the sauces starts to thicken. Stir in the chopped coriander and serve.
