Christmas crisps are here and there are some very unique flavours on offer
Christmas is coming and we're well and truly ready this year. If you're keen for the countdown, there are beauty advent calendars galore, but if you prefer a tasty treat behind each door there's a cheese advent calendar that sounds brie-ly good.
There are also so many delicious Christmas snacks available this year. To satisfy your sweet tooth there's a Christmas Colin the Caterpillar, if you like traditional festive bites there are the Asda gin-infused mince pies and Starbucks released their festive menu this week which includes some tasty sandwiches.
But if you're looking for a savoury snack that you can pop on the table at your festive gatherings, there are some Christmas crisps on offer that you'll want to consider adding to your trolly.
Sainsbury's is championing the cheese this year with a Camembert and Rosemary flavour at just £1 a packet alongside a Taste the Difference Roast Turkey and Herb Stuffing and Taste the Difference Truffle Parsnip flavours.
Walkers also launched a variety of seasonal flavours, which include Pigs in Blankets, Brussels Sprouts, Cheese and Cranberry, and Glazed Ham. Delicious.
And they're not the only ones. Co-op has gone one step further with a Cauliflower Cheese flavour which has divided crisp connoisseurs online, with one writing: 'OMG I want some!' and another adding: 'Just wrong.'
Last year, Kettle launched a Truffled Cheese and Champagne flavour and Iceland decided to create their very own Christmas tree flavour. Whether these will be re-released this year is currently unknown, but it's looking likely that there will be a nice - and unusual - selection to choose from for Christmas 2019.
