ASDA is releasing a festive gin range for a very merry Christmas
We've been preparing for Christmas pretty early this year. We've picked out our favourite beauty advent calendar, we're ready to get our hands on an extra special Christmas Colin the Caterpillar and we're planning a trip to the Friends Christmas Festival.
It truly is the most wonderful time of the year.
And if like to countdown the days to December 25th in your comfiest pyjamas, nestled under a blanket on the sofa and watching the Harry Potter movies, you'll be pleased to know that a few very festive tipples are coming your way courtesy of ASDA.
The supermarket is releasing a range of gins which are perfect for the season to be jolly.
There are three new flavours to try. First up is the Extra Special Winter Spiced Gin with Cranberry and Clementine, triple distilled and created with a blend of festive spices including cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. It comes in at £18 and is best served with a tonic or lemonade.
Then there's the Mince Pie Gin Liqueur on offer for £10 which will go down a treat alongside their Extra Special Clementine and Cinnamon Tonic.
And finally there's the Toasted Marshmallow Gin Liqueur for anyone with a sweet tooth, costing just £12. It tastes of freshly toasted marshmallows and is best paired with Prosecco for a 'light pink drink perfect for any festive party'.

Ed Sowerby, Asda gin product developer, says: 'Gin continues to be a favourite with our customers, especially around the festive season where gifts and something to impress guests with is top of customers’ agendas, so we’re proud of the innovation which has gone into creating our latest festive spirits.
'We wanted to make sure that there was a seasonal sip for every palate, and we’re sure that our customers will love our latest additions to the Extra Special gin collection.'
Merry Christmas indeed.
