It's be-gin-ning to look a lot like Christmas...
It's be-gin-ning to look a lot like Christmas...
The Christmas countdown is officially on now that Halloween and Bonfire night are done and dusted. While we're dreaming of these beauty advent calendars - and cheese advent calendars, for that matter - Christmas is edging ever-closer. And it's totally fine to get your tree up now, because putting your decorations up early could make you happier. Seriously - it's science.
And this year, everyone is getting involved in the festivities. There's a Cath Kidston Mickey Mouse collection that is serious stocking goals, New Look is selling Friends Christmas t-shirts that we absolutely need, and Prosecco Christmas crackers are now a thing and we're so in.
But if you're not one for fizz and you're not keen on the Aldi wine advent calendar, the supermarket has come up with something else for you to enjoy - gin Christmas crackers.
Yep - if you're a gin fan, this set is the one for you.
Forget winning the world's tiniest notepad or a plastic ring, these crackers put a grown-up spin on the festive tradition. It's a pack of six crackers, each containing a gin mini for you to enjoy at the dinner table while you tuck into your turkey.
Coming in at a very reasonable £19.99, they'll be available online from November 9th, and in stores from November 14th.

And if gin really is your thing, Aldi are also releasing a 12 Gins of Christmas set, a twelve-day countdown with a specially selected gin behind every door. From Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin to Tanqueray Dry Gin, there's something for everyone. Plus, each window comes with its own tonic.
The gin set could be yours for just £34.99, and will also be available online from November 9th, and in stores from November 14th.
We're certain these will sell out in absolutely no time, so we'd make a note of the dates if we were you.
Merry gin-mas...
