This website auctions off flight upgrade tickets for cheap
Business class, here we come

Business class, here we come
We've all been there. That moment when you've got your best airport swag on and you smile at the flight attendant when you check-in hoping that today is going to be the day you hear the words, 'congratulations! You're eligible for a complimentary upgrade.'
Unfortunately, that day isn't guaranteed.
If you really want to get upgraded to first class, first off, definitely don't do this and it might also be worth knowing the first thing a flight attendant notices about you.
But, to make your chance of getting upgraded even greater, you can now bid for business class and first class seats on flights you're already planning to fly economy with. How? You ask. It's easy, there's a website called PlusGrade and it's where airlines auction off their available pricy seats within 72 hours of departure.
But, it's worth noting that you have to bid on each flight individually (in case you have a transfer) and if you've booked for more than one person, the bid will count for every person, in the sense that it'll be multiplied for each person on your booking.
So, upgrade - but with caution.
