Who wore it best: Celebrities in the same outfits
Because when it comes to the style stakes, great minds think alike
Because when it comes to the style stakes, great minds think alike
It's the age old question when celebrities are spotted out and about or at a high-end event wearing exactly the same thing – Who wore it best? We take a look back on some of the best A-list accidental twinning moments.
Kendall Jenner and Rita Ora were famously spotted wearing the same Balmain x H&M blazer dress at separate events in 2015, and earlier this year Irina Shayk donned a gorgeous red Dior mini dress that Selena Gomez had previously worn two years before. And Taylor Swift and Andreja Pejic both stunned in the same plunging black Alexandre Vauthier gown from the Couture collection back in February.
What's more, when Burberry's monogrammed cape dominated the catwalk back in Fashion Week AW14, any A-lister worth their salt wanted to get their hands on one, models and actresses alike. But it's not just celebrities who dress the same, though: These are the cutest celebrity mum and daughter twinning moments, ever. Aren't they just the sweetest?
Arguably, what it all comes down to is that these A-listers just have great taste in clothes, so it's hardly surprising that from time to time, they do wear the same ensemble. Great minds think alike, after all. And as far as we can see, it usually happens when said celebrities are at separate events, saving them any potential embarrassment. Plus it's worth remembering that there's an actual reason behind why we dress the same as our friends (seriously).
So, whether it's The Duchess of Cambridge versus Drew Barrymore, Naomi Campbell up against Amal Clooney, or a simple head-to-head supermodel affair, we can't help but pour over the pictures and ask ourselves: Who wore it best?
Scroll through our round up to see all of the best times that celebrities were matchy-matchy. Spoiler alert: They all look amazing.
