On the hunt for your dream wedding dress that won’t blow the budget? We’ve got some very, very good news for you. Whistles announced today that they’ve been cooking up a line of elegant but modern high street wedding dresses, Whistles Wedding, which will debut in February 2017.

The 7-piece limited edition range includes classic silhouettes and more trend-led shapes. Traditional brides will love the chic high-neck dresses, while anyone planning a more contemporary big day will appreciate the modern stepped hem dress, the one shoulder number and, for anyone who doesn’t’ fancy wearing a dress at all, there's a gorgeous jumpsuit.

‘We are excited to launch Whistles Wedding next year. We’ve had so much interest from customers on wedding attire that we felt the time was right to launch a contemporary collection of dresses for the modern bride,’ said Whistles Creative Director, Nick Passmore. ‘Whistles Wedding will offer our customer a refined collection from which they can choose something to wear for their big day; from a city wedding right through to a countryside celebration.’

The first thing that struck us about the collection is the intricate detail. Made form delicate lace, organza jacquard, beautifully embroidered tulle and luxurious silks, the dresses also feature traditional internally boned bodices, sweet scalloped edges, detachable trains and on-trend ruffles, that will make you do a double-take on the price tags. How much will a Whistles Wedding dress set you back, you ask? Prices will start at £499 and go up to £699.

Best of all, the Whistles London flagship store, located on St. Christopher’s Place, has been transformed into a bridal suite, where brides-to-be and their bridesmaids (the brand does some very chic bridesmaids' dresses too, FYI) can make private appointments.
