We never tire of watching Karlie Kloss being a total babe. Whether she’s baking a batch of her own Karlie’s Kookies, walking down the Victoria’s Secret catwalk or giving us fitness goals on Instagram, we’re all ears. So when we saw the latest Swarovski mini series, starring the girl power pioneer, our fan-girl blinkers hit maximum.
Jewellery giant Swarovski have been sparkling up everyone’s outfits since the 1930’s. So to celebrate the history of their bling on the silver screen, they’ve re-imagined iconic scenes from some of our retro film favourites. “No matter what age or generation, everyone knows these iconic moments and what they represent in terms of style and glamour. ”, says Swarovski’s Yelena Aschberger.
In the first two mini episodes, the model and T-swift squad member becomes Audrey Hepburn in ‘Breakfast at Swarovski’ and Marilyn Monroe in ‘Crystals Are A Girl’s Best Friend.’ As she recreates the much-loved vintage movie clips with a modern twist.
Karlie told us “What I love most about icons like Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe is the confidence they bring to every scene and character they played. Like many of my role models, they’ve shown that a woman who is confident and strong-willed will always be in style.”
“I have always been an admirer of the timeless Hollywood glamour of Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe, and being able to evoke their iconic movie scenes and add a modern spin was such a fun experience”
